More Flights From Canada To Bring In Tourists To Jamaica

The number of visitors from Canada have recorded an impressive increase in Jamaica something that is obvious when you consider that many airlines have launched new services to cater to the tourists making a beeline to the island.

Recent reports state that a variety of airlines and tour operators have launched new services coast to coast to vacation hot spot Montego Bay. Seasonal departures, depending on the city, will begin from November to January and end in either March or April. Service includes both direct and non-stop flights.

Signature Vacations and Sunwing Airlines will offer weekly departures to Montego Bay from Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa and Winnipeg. Three weekly flights will depart from Toronto and two from Montreal.

Transat Tours Canada will offer once-a-week departures from Calgary, Edmonton, London, Ottawa, Saskatoon and Vancouver/Winnipeg (this flight will begin in Vancouver), two weekly flights from both Montreal and Halifax and a total of five flights from Toronto.

Thomas Cook/Sunquest Vacations will offer seven flights per week from Toronto this winter and will have two departures each week from Montreal and Winnipeg. The operator will continue to sell once-a-week departures from Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Ottawa, Quebec City, Regina, Saskatoon and Vancouver.

WestJet Airlines/Vacations will add non-stop service beginning in November from seven Canadian cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Regina and Montreal. WestJet will continue to fly daily from Toronto and will add a second Saturday departure in January.

Jamaica villas, cottages and apartments are in great demand during the high season that falls between mid December to mid April and so if you are planning a Jamaica vacation, it is advisable you book your preferred Jamaica rentals well in time and take advantage of the best prices both in airline tickets and accommodation.
