The swimming beach for the public is located right beside the Fisherman's Beach.

Now re-named the Jacob Taylor Public Bathing Beach, the swimming beach has been re-built and privatised.

There are changing facilities, showers and toilets, standby water supply, picnic tables and seats, swings and see-saws, and area lights. There is a small charge for using the facilities.
