River Rafting On The Martha Brae

Distance from Silver Sands to Martha Brae Rafting: 10 miles

Take a ride down a river on a bamboo raft.

The Martha Brae River flows out of the Cockpit Country and winds its way down to the sea at Falmouth. From Rafter's Rest, your raft captain will take you on a gentle two hour ride through lush vegetation. You can stop for a swim or to buy drinks and craft items from some enterprising locals who set up shop on the banks of the river.

This is a journey enjoyed by young and not so young.

A raft costs US$40 and accommodates a maximum of two adults and one child up to ten years old. Price includes a complimentary drink of Fruit Punch.
