We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Silver Sands, and would highly recommend it to others.
While there, we had the opportunity to use the facilities at the Villa Mart, the front desk, the bar and the grill. All were excellent.
We (especially our children) also got a kick out of the evening activities, such as karaoke and crab races. For us, it was just he right amount of "nightlife" for a relaxing vacation.
The office staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
We had two drivers during our stay - Norman and Joe. Both were excellent, safe, and personable.
We stayed in Oh Boy villa, and were very impressed by the staff there. They bent over backwards to be accommodating. Since we had never stayed in a villa with a staff before, we did find it a bit awkward at first - we weren't sure who chose the menu, how we paid for the food, what time to expect meals, and so forth. We figured it out as the week went along, but a little more information "up front" would have been helpful.
The other suggestion that might be helpful for newcomers is to tell them to bring cash! We found that we needed more cash than we expected (for tipping, food vendors and so forth), and it was not easy to get it. The one day we went into Duncan to find an ATM, they were all out of order. We talked to many other guests having the same problem.
