We had another great trip to Silver Sands!!! Our friends, Mary Jo and Dave Weber, embraced the Silver Sands experience as completely as Tom and I have come to love.
"Oh Boy" was a wonderful villa. I cannot give enough praise to Yasmin and Elaine! The wonderful meals they prepared and the way they took care of us was phenomenal! They even prepared sandwiches and banana bread for each of us to have on our trip back to the States. I have never had any other cook do that for us. It was as though they continued to take care of us even after we had left Silver Sands .... Wonderful!
I was very impressed with all of the improvements made to the "social" area. The folks in the guest services area were very helpful with any question or request we had. It was nice to get to meet many of your staff. Mary Jo and I had pedicures/manicures one day -- it was so nice to have those facilities on-site.
The new location for the Villa Mart is a real positive. It's nice to have so many amenities so close to that wonderful, wonderful sea!
We went to Browns Town one day and took Elaine and Yasmin with us -- what a great experience!!! We went down to the social area several nights for the entertainment and had great fun.
I was able to visit with Angela one afternoon. I know you realize what a wonderful asset she is to your whole program.
Martin picked us up from the airport on our arrival day and took us back when we left Silver Sands, but he also took us to Browns Town and checked with us throughout the week to see if we needed anything.
The only problem was when we had to leave!! We took lots of photos, which we will try to send to you at a later time. In fact, Tom developed 8 x l0s of photos he took last year and we have them framed and on the walls in our home.
Please give my regards to Angela, to all of the ladies in the guest services area, to the ladies at the Villa Mart and to the folks tending the bar. And, please, please, tell Yasmin and Elaine how much we appreciated everything they did to make our trip wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and incredibly accommodating.
We plan to see you'all again in February of 2009!!
