The staff at the Ebb Tide is exceptional. Both ladies were a blessing. They were very pleasant, went to extra efforts to cook what we enjoyed, flexed for our schedule and even dressed alike. They even picked up our laundry bags and washed some of our clothing for the return home. They were not lazy helpers and really worked together as a team. The gardener helped us with luggage and was very pleasant and helpful during our stay each day. He was constantly watering plants, sweeping outside and trimming.
We were impressed that the beach was continually being cleaned. Some of us enjoyed walking it early in the morning before our leaving for the church campaign.
The Villa Mart was well stocked for necessities and the staff was super. We also appreciated taking our groceries to the house. They also offered two of us a ride to our house on one occasion when we were carrying things.
We appreciated the guard staff and the handling of our coming and going at the gated entry. We also were surprised that everything went so well. From the onset of our reservation, to the notes sent to us, we felt good. We hope to come back next year to Silver Sands. It was our twelfth trip to Jamaica for missionary work. The upgrade to Silver Sands made us feel safer and we enjoy the work we were doing more because we did not have to worry about our safety or the food we ate.
