Hurricane Guarantee
Should a hurricane (as defined by the U.S. National Weather Service) threaten Jamaica,
our guests staying at Silver Sands will receive a reimbursement for the cost of
the accommodation for the number of disrupted nights. In addition, our guests will
receive free accommodation at that house for the same number of disrupted nights
for use during the same month the following year, subject to availability.
This guarantee comes into effect when the Government of Jamaica issues a Hurricane
WARNING for Jamaica. Other expenses, including, but not limited to, airfares, food
and beverage, or transportation services are not included or covered by this guarantee.
The free accommodation offered for the subsequent year applies only to those affected
by the hurricane and may not be passed on to other persons.

Rum Jetty |
|
Rum Jetty offers its own Special Hurricane Guarantee as the house is so very close
to the Sea. It is our policy to evacuate Rum Jetty if a hurricane (as described
above) should become an issue. Therefore, guests staying at Rum Jetty will be moved
to another house on higher ground and this accommodation will be free. Guests will
also receive a reimbursement for the cost of the accommodation for the number of
disrupted nights. Note, there is no offer of free nights at Rum Jetty the following
year. |
