What a great way to experience Jamaica!! Starting from our pre arrival communications all the way to our airport drop off, we had exceptional service from My Silver Sands. Nordia and Kelly-Ann were excellent at anticipating our needs and keeping our place spotless. Nordia called the veggie and fruit dealer who came right to our unit! We discovered the refrigerator was not working properly after our first night. We had to buy ice and use a cooler to keep our items refrigerated. The freezer never kept anything frozen. The staff told us that the problem was reported to management and nothing has been done about it. However , I can see from a previous review that this has been an onging issue.
The front door was unable to lock with a key on our 2nd to last night there. The villa is in need of an upgrade.

The staff was amazing. Unfortunately the house was less than expected. The louvers on the windows in the bedrooms didn’t close all of the way leaving the main bedroom warm. The bathrooms were like saunas and the pool was hotter than a jacuzzi. Both heat issues could be fixed with inexpensive canopies. The refrigerator and freezer didn’t stay properly cold either. Don’t drink the water!!!!

Nordia and Kelly Ann were amazing and very accommodating to any requests we had during our stay. Nordia made delicious meals and beautiful desserts (key lime pie, rum cake and chocolate cake were all very good). Kelli Ann kept the villa very clean and our laundry done daily. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning.

Nordia and Kelly Anne were great and the accommodations nice.
The pool was cleaned daily and the gardener kept the property pristine
If the property is not sold by the Jamaican government (who own the villa) we would return next year
Our 8th time to Silver Sands (we have stayed at other villas there)

The villa is simple and well located, but it could do with some refreshing of the fridge and furniture. The chef, Nordia ,is excellent, a pleasant and friendly woman who made our stay really lovely. Kelly-Ann is also a pleasant person.

We were very happy with Buena Vista and especially with Nordia's cooking and helpful advice. Both staff members were kind and pleasant. The villa needs some minor repairs-kitchen counters, freezer, shower flow, and living-room furniture comfort, but all in all, a very nice vacation place.
