Dining in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Evita’s Italian Restaurant
Everyone has dined in Evita’s, from England’s Queen Mother to Hollywood’s Brad Pitt. Here you can savour Italian pasta with a Jamaican twist. This Jamaica/Italian fusion includes Italian dishes combined with spices unique to Jamaica. Favourite here is Lasagna Rastafari made with callaloo and ackee. There is live music on Saturdays. The only restaurant overlooking Ocho Rios, this romantic dining experience is not to be missed. Children can dine at half price.
Coconut Café and Bar
You can enjoy local, Mexican and Italian cuisine as also burgers and wraps. The outdoor deck overlooks cruise ships. It is open daily between 8.30 am to 10 pm.
Hard Rock Café
The internationally acclaimed restaurant includes all the memorabilia that has become the trademark at other worldwide locations. You can marvel at the original handwritten lyrics of Bab Marley’s “Jammin” and lithograph of Marley and others. Menu includes burgers, NY strip steaks, fajitas and ribs. For starters sample the jumbo combo (chicken wings, tupelo chicken, onion rings, and potato skins) with four sauces. The restaurant also features a retail store on the first level.
Passage to India
You can stop here to try Indian and Indo-Chinese fusion cuisine. Dishes here are vegetarian. There is also a lounge/bar. Reservations are recommended.
The Ruins at the Falls
Dine here overlooking the waterfalls. The restaurant serves healthy lifestyle cuisine: Jamaican, Chinese, International and seafood.
John Crow’s Tavern
The place offers outside dining with a bar inside. Jamaican fare includes curried goat, ackee and saltfish, jerk chicken and oxtail. American favourites include wings, burgers and pizza.
