I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write, we've been stuck in snow and below freezing weather since we returned to the states. Just wanted to let you know that once again, (5th time) we had a very special trip.
We stayed at Tu Mac again and Cynthia and Constance couldn't have been more wonderful! They are wonderful ladies and cater to our every need. The food was fantastic, as was anything else we needed. Cynthia did a marvelous job of keeping the house and we always appreciated the clean, fresh towels each day. And what can I say, how wonderful it is to have our laundry done each day. We were lucky to have the lobster man visit which made for a wonderful meal. Constance was sure that one of our "newcomers" tasted Ackee and knew that my husband is a beef pattie fan, so she surprised one afternoon with a lunch of beef patties.
Of course I can't say enough about your staff at the Villa Mart, so accomodating and friendly. And Desirine and Angela......such wonderful people! Anything I needed they took care of for me. And Deserine always answered my emails promptly or was good enough to call me to discuss what I needed prior to our trip. I felt very comfortable with all the arrangements.
We purchased the transportation package that Desirine recommended and requested Trevor as our driver. As always, he was great. We took a day trip to Mystic Mountain, Ocho Rios for ziplining, canopy tour and bob sledding. Lots of fun for all! Go early to avoid the cruise crowds. I highly recommend this trip.
This year several of us tried the spa services, a massage at the jetty, hair braiding and one had a massage in the spa.........all were wonderful. Trish and her staff are great.
I also want to mention the bartender, Sheldon and the fine young ladies that work with him (Chantal is one and the other name escapes me!). They are so much fun!! When the 7 of us appeared at a very quiet bar one night they proceeded to help us have a party, teaching us some dances and just having a good time.
We made our yearly trip to Leroy's at Fisherman's Beach on Saturday night to dance and listen to the band.......lots of fun. It's nice that there are lights on the road down now
We also visited Fisherman's Beach during the day to visit with Julette, Jennifer and the wood carvers. It's always fun to see them.
All in all the trip was great, service impeccable and weather perfect!
I hope I didn't leave anything out, everything was great, no complaints.
