It was so wonderful to see you waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. That is a very nice personal service and very comforting as this was our first time to Silver Sands and did not know what to expect. I only knew what your web site said and lo and behold, everything is just like you say.
Our airport transfers and transportation during our stay was excellent. Mike (Mikey) was just great, very informative and very knowledgeable. He is a very proud Jamaican and very proud of his mountain home area.
The rest stop was a very authentic Jamaican touch, I would imagine if I were a first timer to Jamaica I would have found it to be very interesting.
The powdery beach at Silver Sands is just awesome. The guest services, patio area, bar, grill and SPA all come together to make a very nice area for guests. We really liked and used the Villa Mart as it was so convenient and well stocked. The staff at all of the services were very helpful and courteous. The lifeguard (name eludes me) was quite informative and had a love for track, soccer and basketball so we always had something to talk about.
Casaurina Cottage, where do I start?
It is a very well put together, very bright and airy, and nicely furnished and decorated. However, the best and most awesome part was "Claudette". She is such a warm wonderful person. We miss her very much. Her cooking was divine and always plentiful. She would always explain Jamaican foods to us and eventually throughout the week we ate a lot of Jamaican cuisine. I know that we will never forget her or her delicious cooking.
I'm sure we will be back to Silver Sands again. We have been to super clubs before but we found Silver Sands to be so much more relaxing. We totally agree with your slogan "where your vacation is easy".
