We highly recommend the Primrose Path villa at Silver Sands. This was our second trip to Silver Sands; the first was with a large group, and more recently we returned for a romantic getaway. Both experiences were amazing. It’s hard to imagine being confined to hotel room, after enjoying the villa experience.
A friendly driver (Melvin from Mysilversands) met us at the Montego Bay airport in a comfortable, air-conditioned van. No layovers, no delays, no confusion. The property is less than an hour away from the airport; close enough for a short airport transfer yet removed from the cruise ships and mega-resorts in Montego Bay. We left Philadelphia in the morning and enjoyed lunch at the villa by the afternoon.
The private beach at Silver Sands is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The property is situated near plenty of attractions between Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. Despite the range of activities, our favorite experience was just relaxing at Primrose Path. The villa is impeccable and offers every modern amenity a guest could ask for.
The staff at Primrose Path is terrific. There are no words to fully describe their kindness and hospitality. Jackie and Keith prepared amazing meals catering to our preferences. All week long, we dined on local seafood, fresh fruit, and our favorite Jamaican specialties. The housekeeper, Dione kept the house in perfect order throughout our stay.
The pictures of the villa don’t lie. There’s really no place like Primrose Path!!!
