The Mysilversands team closed the site offices and Villa Mart grocery store early on Monday, 12 December 2010, and headed off in Trevor's bus to the Ruins Restaurant in Ocho Rios to celebrate the holiday season and surviving another tough year in these trying economic times.

 
The Ruins Restaurant is a breathtakingly beautiful spot with natural cascading waterfalls, like Dunn's River Falls. "Dine by waterfalls" is an appropriate slogan. With good food and great company, a good time was had by all.

 
Prem Chadeesingh made a short speech thanking the staff for joining him in the celebrations and for their hard work throughout the year. He pointed out that the small company had managed to hold its own during a tough year and highlighted the fact that this was in no small part due to the dedication of the on site staff. Hoping that the recession would soon be history, he thanked the staff for the great service provided to their guests.
