something about this. There is no way there are 365 days of sun so I don't see how you can charge thousands of dollars and not have even warm water to shower. Or at least list this. Guests should know this ahead of time!
Some of the screens didn't fit on the windows. The electricity went out several times so the air didn't work. We opened the windows with screens but since they didn't fit properly, mosquitoes were terrible inside. One of the bathrooms, we couldn't even close the windows after opening it.
The outdoor furniture is VERY dated like mentioned in other reviews. The upstairs bedroom has a huge balcony with 1 chair. They could have a couple of chaise chairs or something up there. The music system as listed is broken.
The AC in the rooms did work nicely when we had power.

The staff was great. We really enjoyed our meals. They were very sweet and accommodating with our requests.
The ladies at Silver Sands were very responsive and helpful. They were terrific.
We had massages at the house, and they were awesome. Highly recommend.

Silver Sands as a place has gone downhill which is really sad to see. The store unfortunately is no longer in business. We have been in the past and my kids loved the crab races. We have been looking forward to this again. It had been posted on the board all week for Tuesday night. Our group of 10 along with other families went down to watch to find out they weren't doing it and couldn't get an explanation as to why they didn't have it. There were a lot of upset kids. There was a lack of communication all week down by the restaurant and beach bar.

Needless to say, we were really disappointed with our stay except with the staff. They made up for the other disappointing parts

Communication from the office regarding our initial meal preferences could have been smoother. We hoped to enjoy our selected dishes on the first day. Additionally, it would be beneficial for the office to offer a broader range of sample menus, aiding in planning meals for our eight-day stay and assisting the villa staff with their shopping. Suggestions for improvement include better coordination of golf cart rentals and providing guests with essential information on tipping practices, currency exchange rates, additional fees at grocery stores, and ATMs dispensing U.S. currency. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit.

ates to the cost of meals, the cost of food depends on the items you requested for a week-long stay of a large group. We order all food from local suppliers as a courtesy to guests and do not charge for this service. We are happy you spent the time going through the receipts with the housekeeper so you could understand the actual cost of the items. We too are disappointed that you didn't enjoy every moment of your vacation and hope you enjoy your next visit.

I absolutely love Jamaica. However, I think your villa has bed bugs. We first thought that they were mosquito bites, but after further reviewing, they were bed bug bites. I highly recommend that you exterminate the upstairs bedroom and the bedroom underneath. We have scabs on our skin from all those bites. Maybe before a quest arrives exterminate the place for bed bugs.

Outside of that, the staff was good. The food they prepared was good. Next time, I will grocery shop myself, as the food was a bit pricey ($600+). I'll take that as my fault for not understanding how it works.
