organizational skills and for the 5 days stay displayed an attitude of complacency and laziness.
The patio, rooms, bathrooms were filthy and not thoroughly cleaned as dead insects, dust and remnants of sand were noted on the floor and in closets throughout our entire 5 day stay.
We were provided disheveled, worn out with holes and stained towels, sheets and pillow cases.
There was an unsightly disgusting black residue around most of the pool which prohibited us from using it.
The life-saving ring was torn and in a deplorable manner, as were some of the pool deck chair cushions with visible tears and stains.
The kitchen was an absolute array of untidiness with no standard of cleanliness.
Then there was the unbelievable sight of rodents running across the kitchen floor and roaches in the cutlery drawers.
We wanted to end our stay after 2 nights, however there were no available villas, forcing us to endure the aforementioned unpleasantness for an additional 3 nights.
Again I am intimately familiar with the Silver Sands brand and our experience at Honeycomb does not in any way meet their standards.

And just as important, Villa Management should / must advise of such work to any potential guest prior to arrival.

In my case, I firmly believe a discount should be given back to all the persons renting villas during the construction period. For us, and our wedding guests, the period was October 2-9.

Also, we advised Villa Management that there was theft of personal products (including alcohol that was going to be returned to Caribbean Producers), on the day of leaving October 9, at Red Fox Villa.

Sorry to be negative, but if Silver Sands wants to continue to charge "good money" for Rental Villas, it must ensure that it remains the gold standard, just like Round Hill and Tryall.
