Roots Cottage meet our needs for a girls trip away. T&T worked hard with us on our food budget to provide healthy and delicious meals, our rooms were cleaned everyday and they even had to deal with a couple of plumbing issues that were resolved quickly. We had an amazing experience at Roots Cottage ..we sent a menu and Miss Junie sourced all the items we needed and prepared fabulous meals. Taneisha was pleasant and helpful as well.
The cottage is well appointed with a fantastic view of the ocean ... Jamella was also very helpful and checked in a couple times to ensure everything was going well.
Would definitely stay there again !!!

The house is really beautiful, staff nice and helpful.
Only things to comments about:
- 10 am is too early for a check out
- the fishermen village next door a bit noisy (especially the mass at 7 am on a holiday) -- but this is not your fault we know
- the area of the garden and beach front full of accumulated sand and big stones, not nice to see and dangerous in case kids go and play there, we shared pictures. There were also plastic bottles left next to the wall and some iron to

My stay at Roots Cottage December 2023 was outstanding! The staff Miss Junie and Miss Suzette are the nicest ladies and feel like family. Everyday a new wonderful Jamaican meal would be prepared for us with beautiful table settings and every dish was amazing. The Roots Cottage itself is spacious and has an incredible beach area that can be for snorkeling if the waves are not rough. Roots Cottage was a lovely villa for us right on the beach. The staff of My Silver Sands is tremendous. I'd truly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a relaxing, low key, and distinctly more Jamaican experience.
