d very well. We used it night because it was quiet. Villa was spotless.
Most of all, we loved being hosted by Miss Evadney and Miss Jennifer. We love them, and getting to know them was one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed their company and miss them now that we've returned home. Not only that, but the meals were superlative and the villa always felt sparkling clean.
Our activities consisted of beaching, snorkeling, climbing, walking on the beach westward, and visiting with the artisans on the public beach next door. We also went to Cane River Falls, and to the National Gallery of Jamaica. The museum was exceptional regarding its collection of Jamaican art. Incredibly beautiful wood sculptures are on permanent display.
Finally, we would like to say thank you for the memorable stay and the great memories we will keep of our friends Miss Evadney and Miss Jennifer.

outdated, with the exception of the bathrooms and kitchen. Everything in the Villa needs to be thrown out and the Villa needs a to be redecorated. I wouldn’t even describe it as traditional island decor, it’s just plain outdated. The beds are hard as a rock and terribly uncomfortable. None of us slept comfortably for the week that we were there. I literally could only sleep for a few hours before my hips and back would start hurting from the rock hard mattress. What makes this even more unfortunate is the fact that the bedrooms are the only place that has AC and we couldn’t seek reprieve from the heat by going in the rooms. The living room also needs a new and bigger TV, the television is way too small and probably only 20 inches. The pool needs to be resurfaced, new filter (bugs were constantly in the water), and new lawn chairs. The only saving grace were the staff, Ms Jennifer and Ms Evadney; they were absolutely amazing and made our stay comfortable. Also loved the gate around the patio which prevented my 18 month old nephew from accessing the pool while being able to be “outside”. I wish Silversands would require better upkeep and possibly stricter guidelines regarding the condition of the villas from the owners. Overall: would I be back at Silversands for another Villa? Absolutely because some in our group had amazing villas and the community is well maintained and the beach was amazing. Would I return to or recommend Quarterdeck? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Hope this helps in the owners making changes or someone making a good choice regarding their villa and not be disappointed as we were.
