bed for shells each morning and evening. The grounds are immaculate kept by Nigel, and this property has one of the nicest garden areas since the pool is located upstairs next to the living room.
The staff at this villa made us feel at home! Nigel took us kayaking and paddle boarding, which was so much fun and a nice change to our daily workout routines. We snorkeled by a nearby island and got to see so many cool fish, snails, and starfish!
Chef Pauline is just amazing! Her dishes were just the right portion, as we told her ahead of time we wised to stay fit and healthy during vacation. The meals were healthy, satisfying, and full of flavor. I have no doubt if you palette preference is rich meals and desserts, she would knock that out of the park as well! Paulette kept the villa absolutely spotless, which was no easy feat with our highly energetic six year old constantly going from beach to hot tub to pool. The linens were always fresh and she was very kind in doing laundry for us, next visit I will not pack so much!
We did visit Dolphin Cove and had My Silver Sands arrange a driver, Mr.Mason for us. He gave us a very informational and interesting tour of Jamaica as we drove to our destination, then he patiently waited parked outside for us.
This was my eighth or ninth trip to Jamaica and I will keep returning, but definitely to this villa. The location is superb, the villa itself perfectly laid out, and the staff truly made our vacation special by being so kind and inviting. We will truly miss Ms.Pauline, Ms. Paulette, and Mr.Nigel until our next visit.
I also want to shout out the staff of My Silver Sands- JaNelle started our trip off on a great note with a warm welcoming smile at the airport, she was right up front, and we got started on our vacation right away. We received very nice emails prior to the stay to ensure we had everything we needed.
We cannot wait to return to this absolute paradise! Thank you to everyone we interacted with, we truly appreciate the hospitality and kindness of the Jamaican people!

us. I would just say though, that for Paulette's/Nigel/the other lady who came in, their demeanor could be a bit more pleasant. Not that they were rude in any way, but there's room for improvement in their interaction. to be a bit more guest-centric.
There were a few issues with the facilities. On arrival, one of the bathrooms (Room 1) was not cleaned properly and this was a big turn off at the outset. Nigel immediately addressed the issue, but by then the damage was done.
The guests in room 4 also were underwhelmed with the bathroom in particular. There was an issue getting cold water from the face basin and the hot water was scaldingly hot so it was a challenge washing their faces/hands or brushing teeth. The shower was also a bit cramped. They also said there was no remote for their AC unit.
There was another plumbing issue upstairs, where water leaked from the bathroom in Room 7 into Room 5. Again Nigel quickly sorted it once he was asked to do so.
In room 6 we were unable to turn on the TV. This wasn't a big deal since we were hardly in the room, but it would have been good if either of the 2 remote controls we saw, actually worked.
Overall, the hiccups we encountered did not detract too much from the enjoyable time everyone had and we would ask you to convey our appreciation to the staff (including those in the booking office), who made our stay a memorable one.
